I recently have started working on CryEngine code. I believe knowing how to start compiling and using the compiled version is very helpful to developers who want to do minor bug fixes or try to add new feature development but they don’t know where to start. I will try to write about my skills and knowledge that I gain from working on the engine. I believe it makes CryEngine development a bit easier for people outside of the company.
